Cookie Policy
What's stored in your browser, and how to change your mind.
01 — The short version
This site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies/storage to work at all, and one optional analytics tool (Google Analytics 4) that only runs if you say yes. Nothing tracks you for advertising — there's no advertising category on this site.
02 — Strictly necessary (always on)
These don't require consent because the site can't function without them:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| dwk-cart-v1 | Remembers what's in your cart between visits | Until cleared or cart emptied | First-party (this site) |
| dwk-consent-v1 | Remembers your cookie preference | 12 months | First-party (this site) |
| Order session record | Lets your confirmation page survive a page refresh | Cleared when the browser tab/session ends | First-party (this site) |
03 — Analytics (off until you accept)
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors, in aggregate | Up to 2 years | Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) |
| _ga_<container-id> | Persists session state for GA4 | Up to 2 years | Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) |
Google Analytics 4 is the only third-party script on this site, and it does not load — no script request, no cookie set — until you click Accept all or enable Analytics in Preferences. Google's Consent Mode defaults to denied on every page load until you accept. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking category, because none is used.
04 — How consent works
When you first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and Preferences as equally weighted choices — none pre-selected, none easier to click than the others. Your choice is stored in dwk-consent-v1 for 12 months, after which you're asked again. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer, which reopens the same preferences panel.
05 — Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies directly through your browser's settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop your cart or checkout session from working correctly, since those aren't optional cookies in the tracking sense — they're how the site remembers what you've added to your cart.
