Abstract concept layout for the Fieldstone Landscape Co. project: a flat vector homepage mockup with a horizon-shaped hero block and three even content sections, in moss-green and stone tones.

Fieldstone Landscape Co.

Client: Fieldstone Landscape Co. (hypothetical — self-directed concept) Type: Concept project Year: 2026 Services: Website Design & Build, Brand Identity Design

Challenge

Fieldstone Landscape Co. is a hypothetical small landscaping business with no site and no mark — a stand-in for the audience Website Design & Build is actually built for: a real trade, no time to look the part, and a template logo undercutting every quote they send. The brief: build a business that looks established on day one, with no back catalogue of past projects to lean on.

Approach

The mark came before the site — a landscaping business lives or dies on trust, so the identity had to read as established before a single page was designed. The mark, type, and a restrained earth-toned palette came first; the five-page site (Home, Services, Process, Work, Contact) was then built entirely around that system, using the Launch tier’s real structure as the build brief.

Outcome

A five-page responsive site and a documented mark, built as a matched pair — proof that Website Design & Build and Brand Identity Design are meant to be bought together, not sequenced as an afterthought.
